Market Invitation Illustration

Vor Kurzem hatte ich das Vergnügen, für Ock Pop Tok diese Einladung zum Handwerksmarkt zu illustrieren. Wie bereits in früheren Blogbeiträgen über Ock Pop Tok beschrieben (z.B. über das Photoshooting einige ihrer Produkte), fasziniert dieses soziale Business mit knalligen Farben und viel Fröhlichkeit sowie tropischen Elementen. Klar, dass dies auch die Hauptelemente für die Markteinladung waren. Am 28. und 29. November 2020 wird dieser im Living Crafts Center von Ock Pop Tok in Luang Prabang, Laos, stattfinden. Wenn du in der Nähe bist, dann verpasse diese einmalige Gelegenheit nicht! Und wenn du nicht in Laos bist: es wird einen digitalen Einblick in den Tag geben - besuche für Details die Webseite von Ock Pop Tok. Es wird ein Markttag, der die Handarbeiten von verschiedenen ethnischen Gruppen von Laos präsentiert - eine perfekte Gelegenheit, um mehr über dieses wunderschöne Land zu lernen und die Künstlerinnen zu unterstützen. Daneben gibt es Streetfood von Laos und anderswo, Kurse, Fotogelegenheiten und natürlich Drinks auf der Terrasse über dem Mekong. Bis dann!

I had the pleasure of illustrating this market invitation for Ock Pop Tok. Like already mentioned in earlier blogposts about some of my works for Ock Pop Tok (for example the photoshooting of some of their products), this social business is characterized by bright, bold colors, a lot of happiness, fun and tropical elements. No question that these elements would also be a central part of the illustration. On 28th and 29th of November 2020, this Village Market Fair will be taking place at the Living Crafts Center in Luang Prabang, Laos. If you are nearby, don't miss this opportunity! And if you are not here: a digital tour of the market square will be offered on the website of Ock Pop Tok. The Village Market Fair features the arts and crafts from different ethnic groups in Laos - a wonderful opportunity to learn more about this beautiful country and to support the artists. Next to that, there will be streetfood from Laos and elsewhere, classes, photo ops and of course drinks on the terrace overlooking the Mekong. See you there!
